Join us for another fun and crafty workshop at the Flower Farm near the flower fields! Kinusaiga Art is a beautiful Japanese art form that is inspired by bringing textured pieces of fabric onto a piece of art without needing to sew.
You do not need any prior knowledge of how to create beautiful pieces of art using the Kinusaiga technique, step by step instructions will be given, and one can continue exploring even after the workshop. Taught by North Dakota native artist, Christina Connick.

Christina Connick discovered her love for art at a young age and spent her childhood years dedicated to developing her artistic skills. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2006 and her Masters in Art Education from the Art of Education University in 2021. She currently teaches K-12 in a rural school district in eastern North Dakota.
As an artist, Christina’s passion lies in replicating the raw natural beauty of our North Dakota surroundings, bringing landscapes and scenes to life with her unique artistic vision. She explores all types of media but has a special love for watercolor, colored pencil, and earthenware clay.
Christina lives with her husband, Bryce, and five children near Portland, ND.
